These terms apply to your use of the CMYK Industries website and any information, quote request, or enquiry submitted through it. By using this site, you agree to these terms and to lawful use of the content and services provided by Astros Marketing (Pty) Ltd on behalf of CMYK Industries.

1. Website Use and Acceptance

CMYK Industries provides this website for general business information, product enquiries, and contact with our sales and support teams in Midrand, Johannesburg. The site is intended for print shops, dealers, and business users who need specialised digital printers, transfer machinery, toners, and media for garment decoration and label printing.

By accessing the site, you confirm that you will use it for lawful purposes only. You must not misuse the website, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with its operation, or use any content in a way that could harm CMYK Industries, its customers, or its service providers.

2. Product Information, Quotes, and Availability

We aim to keep product descriptions, specifications, pricing, and stock indications accurate and current, but errors can happen and information may change without notice. Final supply is subject to written confirmation, product compatibility checks, payment clearance, and stock availability at the time of order.

  • Quotes are valid for the period stated on the document, or if no period is stated, for 7 days.
  • Prices are shown in South African Rand unless stated otherwise and may exclude delivery, installation, duties, and taxes.
  • Lead times for South Africa and neighbouring countries can vary depending on freight, customs, and parts availability.

3. Technical Guidance and Support Limits

Any guidance provided through the website, by email, or by telephone is practical support only and is not a guarantee of print result, machine output, or business outcome. Colour accuracy, media performance, and production speed depend on the machine condition, operator skill, power stability, humidity, substrate choice, and correct maintenance.

Where we assist with machine installation, operator training, colour calibration, media profiling, printhead care, preventive maintenance, breakdown repairs, remote support, consumable planning, or workflow advice, the customer remains responsible for safe operation and for following the manufacturer specifications supplied with the equipment.

4. Orders, Payment, and Delivery

Orders placed through our team are only binding once accepted in writing by CMYK Industries. Payment terms, delivery arrangements, and installation dates will be agreed in advance. We may request a deposit or full payment before dispatch, especially for imported equipment, custom consumables, or urgent orders into regional areas.

  • Delivery addresses must be accurate and accessible for the chosen courier or freight method.
  • Risk may pass on dispatch or delivery depending on the written sale terms.
  • Customers are responsible for checking goods on receipt and reporting shortages or visible damage promptly.

For customers in the greater Johannesburg area, Pretoria, the East Rand, the West Rand, and other parts of Southern Africa, access conditions, municipal restrictions, and offloading requirements may affect delivery times and charges.

5. Warranties, Returns, and Liability

Unless a separate written warranty states otherwise, all products are supplied subject to the applicable supplier or manufacturer warranty, if any, and to the Consumer Protection Act where it applies. Consumables such as toners, media, and print related supplies may not be returnable once opened, installed, or exposed to moisture, heat, or contamination.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CMYK Industries and Astros Marketing (Pty) Ltd will not be liable for indirect loss, lost production time, lost profit, or damage caused by power interruptions, operator error, incorrect setup, unsuitable media, or failure to carry out recommended maintenance. This exclusion does not limit liability where the law says we may not do so.

6. Intellectual Property and Content Use

All text, images, layouts, logos, product descriptions, and downloadable material on this website are protected by intellectual property rights owned by or licensed to CMYK Industries or its service providers. You may view the site and print a copy of pages for internal business reference only.

You may not copy, republish, edit, scrape, distribute, or use our content for commercial purposes without prior written permission. If you submit specifications, artwork details, or machine data to us for a quote or support query, you warrant that you have the right to share that information.

7. Contact, Law, and Updates to These Terms

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any dispute arising from your use of this website will be handled in the South African courts having jurisdiction over the matter unless we agree otherwise in writing.
